RV Detailing in State College, PA

An RV carries more exterior surface than anything else we work on, and most of it lives in the sun. Brakeout Auto washes, corrects and protects motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheels — chalked gel coat, painted panels, the cab, the living space and the glass. Length, layout and condition vary far too much for a price list, so every RV is quoted individually.

What we can do for your RV

Four services from the same team, sequenced in the right order so correction happens before anything protective goes on.

Detailing

A full wash, decontamination and correction across the body, plus the living space inside.

  • Exterior hand wash and decontamination
  • Oxidation removal on gel coat and paint
  • Living space and cab deep cleaned
  • Glass, trim and wheels included

Ceramic Coating

A durable, hydrophobic layer over corrected panels, so an RV that lives outdoors holds its finish.

  • Applied over corrected gel coat or paint
  • Repels water, road film and UV
  • Makes routine washing far faster
  • Manufacturer warranty varies by tier

Paint Protection Film

Film across the areas that take the worst of highway travel.

  • Front cap and leading edges
  • Self-healing film, up to 10 year warranty
  • Certified 3M installation
  • Coverage tailored to how you travel

Window Tinting

Film on the cab and living-space glass to cut heat, glare and UV.

  • Heat and UV rejection in the living space
  • Cab glass installed to Pennsylvania limits
  • Carbon and nano-ceramic films
  • Lifetime warranty against bubbling and fading

Every job here is quoted individually — there is no price list, because no two are the same. Request a free quote and we will come back with a scope and a number in writing.

Why bring an RV to us

An RV is not a large car. The surface area, the materials and the way it is stored all change the job.

01

Scaled To The Vehicle

We plan the work around the RV's actual footprint and surface area rather than stretching a car-sized process to fit.

02

Oxidation Brought Back

Years of sun leave gel coat and paint chalky and flat. We correct that first, so protection goes over a restored surface.

03

Four Services, One Team

Detailing, coating, film and tint under one roof, sequenced correctly instead of split across separate vendors.

04

Certified Installers

Certified 3M installers for film and tint, and certified System X installers for ceramic coatings.

05

Quoted On Its Own

Length, layout and condition drive the hours involved, so we quote each RV after seeing it rather than off a list.

06

An Honest Scope

If a surface needs more correction than a coating can hide, we will tell you before you commit to anything.

What our customers say.

More than 500 five-star reviews across Google, Facebook and Nextdoor, with a consistent 5.0 average rating.

How an RV job runs

Every RV starts with an inspection and a written scope, because condition varies more here than on any car.

  1. 01

    Inspect & Quote

We walk the RV, note oxidation, decals and problem areas, then put the scope and price in writing.

  2. 02

    Wash & Decontaminate

A full hand wash top to bottom, then chemical and mechanical decontamination of the gel coat or paint.

  3. 03

    Correct & Restore

Oxidation and dullness are machine-polished back, worked panel by panel across the body.

  4. 04

    Protect & Inspect

Coating, film or tint goes on as quoted, then we walk the finished RV with you before it leaves.

Turnaround depends on length and condition, so we give you a realistic window with the quote rather than a generic estimate. Tell us where the RV is kept and how big it is when you get in touch and we will confirm arrangements before booking.

RV Detailing, answered.

How much does RV detailing cost?

There is no set price. Length, layout, surface condition and which services you want all change the work involved, so we quote each RV individually after seeing it. Photos of the RV and its current condition let us come back to you faster.

How long does an RV detail take?

Anywhere from a day to several, depending on size and how much correction the surfaces need. We give you a realistic window with the quote rather than a generic estimate.

Can you remove oxidation from a faded RV?

Usually, yes. Chalky, faded gel coat and paint can generally be machine-polished back to gloss. How far it comes back depends on how deep the oxidation has gone, which is part of what we assess before quoting.

Can an RV be ceramic coated?

Yes, and it is one of the more worthwhile things you can do to one. The surface area is huge and most RVs live outside, so a coating that repels water and road film makes routine washing dramatically faster.

Do you tint RV windows?

Yes, both the cab glass and the living-space windows. Cab glass is installed to Pennsylvania's tint limits; living-space glass has more latitude.

Where does the work happen?

Tell us where the RV is kept and what size it is when you request a quote, and we will confirm the arrangements before anything is booked. Our shop is at 143 Hawbaker Industrial Dr, Suite 104, State College, PA 16803.

How do I get an RV quote?

Request a free quote at brakeoutauto.com or call (814) 424-5367. Photos of the RV help us scope it before we see it in person.

Tell us what you've got.

Send us the details and a few photos and we will come back with a scope and a price in writing. No obligation, and no guessing on either side.
